Position: Operations Coordinator

Employer: Loon Echo Land Trust
Position Type: Part-time, hourly (5-10 hours/week, flexible)
Compensation: $18 - 22/hour

About LELT: Loon Echo Land Trust (LELT) is a nationally accredited 501c3 conservation land trust with a mission to protect land in the Northern Sebago Lake Region for the benefit of current and future generations. In addition to stewarding 9,000 acres of land in Maine’s Lake Region, LELT maintains a 35 mile multi-use trail network and offers educational and programming to increase access to the outdoors. 

Position Summary: The Operations Coordinator position is a part time, 5-10 hour per week position that reports to the Executive Director and Director of Partnerships.  The coordinator will work to support LELT’s operations through administrative support. Pay is dependent on experience with a range of $18-22 per hour. The position is based at Loon Echo Land Trust’s office in Bridgton with limited opportunities for remote work. 

Duties include (but not limited to):

  • Supports financial data entry and processing, including bank deposits and thank you letters
  • Produces quarterly donor reports
  • Supports vendor payments/accounts payables
  • Assists with bulk mailings
  • Supporting events with promotion and materials preparation
  • Managing other office related tasks, such as maintaining office supplies, and organizing digital and paper files

Desired Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong computer skills including comfort with digital platforms like Google Workspace and Canva
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online and/or Little Green Light a plus, but not required
  • A desire to learn new things and lend a hand wherever needed
  • Skill with handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Detail oriented with strong organization skills
  • Enthusiasm for the mission of Loon Echo Land Trust and desire to be part of a fun, collaborative team
