The Lake Region Wood Bank provides free, emergency firewood to those in need throughout the Lake Region of Maine. LRWB is a community-driven effort led by Loon Echo Land Trust, Bridgton First Congregational Church, The Opportunity Alliance, Bridgton Community Center, volunteers and businesses. Together, we can ensure our neighbors stay warm and safe through the long Maine winter.

Your skills are needed and everyone is welcome to join the effort! There is a growing list of volunteer needs including stacking firewood, coordinating and assisting with firewood pickups, raising funds for the project and much more.
Regular volunteer workdays are Tuesdays and Saturdays, 9am - 12pm.
