Heads up hikers and preserve visitors! We've received several reports of stinging insects at various LELT properties ('tis the season).

Pleasant Mountain Trails - We've received reports of stings on the Firewarden's trail, Southwest Ridge, and Ledges. Use caution and please let us know if you find any nests in the ground or on trees. Email info@lelt.org or let a trailhead ambassador know.

Bald Pate Parking area - there is a large paper wasp nest in the main parking lot.

Hacker's Hill - A large nest has been spotted near the bathroom.
