New Trail Open at Sebago Cove Forest

We’re thrilled to share that a brand new 2.1-mile trail is now open at Sebago Cove Forest in Naples! This partial loop trail winds through beautiful woods down to the shore of Sebago Cove.

The trail was constructed by the The Trail Fixing Collective with funding from the Land For Maine's Future program. Warren Excavation created a new off-street parking area on Burnell Road with assistance from Sapphire Land & Tree.

Sebago Cove Forest was conserved by LELT in 2024. Loon Echo holds a conservation easement on the property, which remains privately owned.

  • 2.1 miles, 125 feet elevation gain.
  • Access *only* from the off-street parking area on Burnell Road. Room for 5-7 cars. Parking area location.
  • Blue trail markers
  • Temporary 'you are here' maps are posted at several trail intersections
  • Hunting is allowed: wear blaze orange.
