6/21 - Chestnut Tree Planting
Saturday, June 21, 9am | Mayberry Hill Preserve, Casco

A hands-on opportunity to plant American chestnut seedlings as part of The American Chestnut Foundation's "Chestnuts Across Maine" initiative. Sign up here.

6/23 - Lake Region Community Drum Circle

Monday, June 23rd, 6pm | Hacker’s Hill, Casco

Grab your drums, shakers, maracas and/or wood blocks and join us at the top of Hacker's Hill Preserve for our first Drum Circle on Monday, June 23 at 6 pm. Together we'll explore the wonder of making joyful sounds together. The Lake Region Community Drum Circle will meet every other week on Hacker's Hill (weather permitting). No charge.

Guided naturalist walks led by Maine Master Naturalists Leigh and Dawn. Explore the woods and wetlands of the Lake Region. Learn more and register here.

7/2 -  Storytime at the StoryWalk - Meet the Author
Wednesday, July 2, 1pm | Hacker’s Hill, Casco
Join Casco Public Library for a Story Walk with Lyn Smith, the author of “What Makes an Opossum Tick”. CPL’s regular Summer Reading program for ages 6-13 will take place afterwards at Hacker’s Hill. There will also be activities for younger children. Free!
